The next generation of discipleship starts here.

From children to young adults, NEW GEN exists to create spaces where the next generation can grow in faith, build meaningful relationships and discover their purpose.

Every gathering, program and conversation is intentional, designed to help young people feel known, supported and connected to God and community.

Children's Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry creates intentional spaces where kids from infant-age to 12 years can experience God’s love, build meaningful relationships, and learn what it means to love God and love people in everyday life. Each week, children engage in age-appropriate Bible learning, worship, activities, and community designed to help faith grow in ways they can understand and carry with them.

Helping kids build a faith of their own

Children’s Ministry follows the Alive in Jesus curriculum, developed by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Families are encouraged to use online resources provided to continue the conversations started at Sabbath School at home. Printed lesson guides are also available for children who would like them.

Planting roots at every stage

SABBATH SCHOOL CLASSES

On the first Saturday of every month, our classes come together for a praise party! These themed celebrations are a fun and playful opportunity for kids to not only further their learning about Jesus, but also to learn how to put their praise into action through service. Each month, we'll explore a new Biblical example of service, complete with songs, activities and snacks.

YOUTH MINISTRY

Our Youth Ministry helps high-school aged students find community, grow in their faith and live with purpose. Meeting every Saturday at 11am for Sabbath School, Youth Ministry is a place where questions are welcomed, friendships are formed and faith becomes more than just something they hear about at church. Through Bible-centred teaching, mentorship, serving opportunities and real-world conversations, our Youth Ministry leaders help students build a lasting relationship with Jesus and confidence in who they’re becoming.

Safe, secure and loved

We take the safety and wellbeing of every child at New Life seriously. Our goal is to shape a safe environment where every child and young people can grow in their faith, build friendships and have fun, all while their parents and guardians feel at ease.

Every year, we ask parents and guardians to complete our registration and media consent form, which helps us stay up to date with the important details we need to care for your child in the best way possible. On top of this, as part of our commitment to providing a safe space for our children, every Children’s and Youth Ministry volunteer is required to complete an annual criminal background check.

PRIORITIZING SAFETY

Young Adults

Young adults (ages 18 to 35) is one of the fastest-growing age groups at New Life. Every week, our young people meet for Sabbath School for connection and real-world conversations about God and his Word.

We also recently launched Young Adult Group, a casual Friday-evening gathering that puts God at the centre, promising a time of connection, community, discussion and light refreshments.

Signup isn’t required for either of these groups; just bring an open heart and mind (and a Bible, if you want!), and come ready to learn more about the love of Jesus.
